We hate to hear these types of stories, but they do happen. Just a reminder to be good to your fellow Black Friday shoppers and don’t let greed ruin the spirit of a fun Black Friday shopping day.

Angry crowds can ruin the fun for everyone on Black Friday.
Myrtle Beach, SC: A 55 year old woman was shot and wounded during a robbery near a Walmart store. The woman was shot after refusing to give robbers her purse.
San Leandro, CA: Police found a victim of a shooting in a parking lot and the suspect of the shooting being held by the vicitm’s family members. The shooting apparently happened when the suspect demanded the victim’s merchandise and was denied. The victim is currently in critical but stable condition.
Los Angeles, CA: A woman shopping at Walmart used pepper spray fellow shoppers. This incident happened a little after 10PM on Thanksgiving and 20 shoppers were injured during this attack, 10 of which were from pepper spray and the other 10 were from people fleeing and getting stepped on or pushed down.
West Des Moines, IA: Police are investigating a possible shooting after gun shots were reported at a mall just after 4AM. So far no injuries are reported.
Rome, NY: Several Walmart shoppers in the electronics section were pushed to the ground during a fight that broke out at the 12AM opening of the store, one man was charged with disorderly conduct.
Kinston, NC: An off duty police officer helping with security at a local Walmart used pepper spray on a reported 20 people to make an arrest during a disturbance.
Cave Creek, AZ: Walmart shoppers were evacuated after a robot found a device suspected to be explosive left in a refrigerator in a break room. The person responsible for the device could face felony charges.
While we love deals, we’ve NEVER seen a deal great enough to warrant violence. Be safe and be nice to your fellow Black Friday shoppers.
